Seems strange, but as of last Friday, the 21st, I have graduated from Chico State University! Chico State's "School of Nursing", to be more exact. What a feeling. Although, it's one of those things that you are anticipating and preparing for, for years really, and when you finally reach that day, everything happens, the ceremony goes by in a blur, you have a nice dinner, and then it's all over! It's a great feeling of course, but at the same time, I must admit, I felt a little bit empty after it all.
At the same time, I am very happy to finished, and blessed to have the people in my life that have helped me get to where I am today. I'm certainly looking forward to the next chapter of my life, beginning to work as a registered nurse (gotta pass the boards first *wink*)... and when I really start to think about it, my normal positive attitude and excitedness (yes I made up that word) about everything all comes back to me and I really am happy to be where I am today.
I'm really good about keeping my personal journal pretty updated, but I'm going to try (once again) to keep a more regular public journal, so this is it. We'll see how it goes. Feel free to comment!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
**Note: As soon as I get them, I will add some pictures from graduation!!

Congratulations Dani! I'm proud of you and your accomplishment! It feels good doesn't it? The next phase feels a little wierd. If you're anything like me, you'll welcome the change, but it still takes some getting used to!
soak it up girl, you deserve it. I can think of a million times you missed a party, or a weekend or something so that you could stay home and study. Just think, you get to do it all over again when you take the board exam. (tee hee hee)
